Absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I decided to try something local today for our date night & we were not disappointed. We had the hanger steak, Spanish pizza & street steak tapas. Every single choice was very flavorful. Andrew helped us tonight and he was very attentive, friendly and made us feel like we belonged there. We also had the pecan pudding & it was delicious! I will 100% recommend this place & I am most definitely coming back. Support local business!
The sweet and spicy ribs were delicious and fall off the bone amazing! The staff was amazing and the pineapple cosmopolitan omg chefs kiss! Now the place shares the same building with Red Hen so there is a little confusion but ask them when you go in
From the moment we walked into the door our experience was flawless. Colin was our server and he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very personable. The drinks were great. The portion sizes are extremely generous. The ambiance and atmosphere is breathtaking. You can tell that attention to detail is a main focus. The selection on the menu was so eclectic. We will most definitely be returning.
I love the steak tapas, the burrata and the risotto. Don't miss out on the butterscotch bread pudding.
Best food around! Great atmosphere and love the staff. Would highly recommend going. Definitely try the street steak and chicken empanadas. The owner is a sweetheart and takes such pride in her work and it shows!
First time dining here and absolutely loved everything I tried! The bruschetta was so good! The bourbon butterscotch pecan bread pudding is the best bread pudding I've ever had! We also ordered the baked brie and shredded beef enchiladas (delish!). The waitress and owner were friendly and gracious. Cannot wait to go back.
Our experience at BLK SHP was amazing as always. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was incredible. Heather, our server, was the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant. She was fun, polite, and attentive to all our needs. She even got me the tiny spoon I requested for dessert. The drinks were perfect as well. Can’t say enough about Heather tho.
It’s no surprise that BLK SHP is quickly becoming a staple in the South Jersey area. An intimate but cozy dining room painted a muted sea-foam and splattered with gold and brass accented mirrors surround diners. The room, flanked by a large open hearth fireplace sets the mood for a culinary journey. The Wild Mushroom Ragout was to die for, such a lovely blend of creamy earthy flavors and crisp fresh baguette. The Grilled octopus was savory and perfectly paired with the lemon and olive oil accompaniment. My server, Ally, was personable and attentive during my entire experience, always checking in and ensuring that I was enjoying the plates and offering her suggestions when asked. The chef and manager also made their rounds through the dining room and ensured that myself, and other patrons, were well taken care of. I absolutely cannot wait to come back and try new dishes, I’m confident they will be just as delicious!
